Youth, health and beauty - Americans have long believed that sparkling white teeth offer these long sought after attributes. Tooth whitening has evolved at such a rapid pace in the dental community. Over 81% of all dentists today offer cosmetic tooth-whitening treatments (American Dental Association). Despite these fast-paced changes, many patients - including some of my own - are still confused over which whitening procedures they should try.
Questions I often hear include:
“Are all whitening methods safe?”
“Are there any long-term side-effects?”
“How white will my teeth actually get?”
